Our aim is ambitious: Over five years we are identifying, testing and bringing to scale financial innovations that substantially improve the lives of hard-working Americans. We are armed with deep knowledge of consumer behavior and marketplace trends – as well as a hefty dose of financial services expertise. We share a passion for change.

Weathering financial shocks

Each year we will identify a new challenge topic raising awareness and generating insights around the most salient financial challenges facing Americans.

Our Challenge for 2016 is Helping Americans Weather Financial Shocks. Why? Let’s face it: we are all one shock away from financial ruin…it just depends on the size of the shock. But for many Americans, financial shocks are small, simple things that can have devastating implications, like missing work due to illness, an unanticipated car repair, a sudden rent increase – things that could be averted or mitigated by innovative financial products.
